BOTH Dr. Robert and Dr. Katie Tigani will be fee-for-service after February 1st, 2022.
While Dr. Robert Tigani has never been considered an "in-network" provider for any network, Dr. Katie Tigani used to participate in several networks.
The decision to no longer participate was not an easy one for our office to make. Our
office made multiple investments to help safeguard all of our patients in response to the Covid-19 virus. The changes implemented were based on CDC as well as ADA recommendations. Unfortunately, the cost associated with these improvements raised our overhead for operating finances, and network reimbursement schedules remain below what is needed for our office to continue to provide the standard of care that our patients deserve. We thank you for understanding, and hope you will continue to trust us to provide the best care regardless.
We will still provide patients with the necessary paperwork to file claims for their visits, and we remain flexible in allowing for payment plans for certain procedures. We recognize that unexpected dental procedures can be expensive and we aim to be efficient yet reasonable. Though we may no longer be considered "in-network," individual plans may still cover portions of treatment; it is worth checking your unique plan to see what out-of-network coverage might be, since we do believe continuity of care is crucial to maintaining optimal oral health.
